What is “Citizens for a Safer Cleveland”?

Citizens for a Safer Cleveland represents a broad group of concerned organizations and individuals who want to strengthen community oversight of the police and ensure that our communities can feel safe and secure. They represent a coalition backing a ballot initiative that would ensure independent oversight of investigations into police misconduct and give final authority on discipline decisions to a board of community leaders.
